here are some images from my Hannover trip last weekend. All photos were taken with my new B+W polarizer filter. I really can recommend the B+W filters to other DP1 users - great mechanical quality and perfect fit.
to use filters you need the HA-11 lenshood from sigma:

I took this shot when I went home from work yesterday. Its merged from 3 images to enhanced the dynamic range. The longest exposure was 15 sec. The result is not too bad, I´m pretty satiesfied with DP1´s long exposure IQ, really clean and sharp.

I went to the city today morning and haven’t planned to take any photos, but for the case of the unexpected I always take my DP1 with me… and lucky me, there was a chinese ceromony in the middle of the street:D
The light was really diffuse due the cloudy sky, so I decided to convert the images to B&W.

It’s really exciting to play with the DP1, especially here in Frankfurt. The camera and the city are new to me, so I was very curious to explore both.
I was in the city lately and saw a beggar woman, completely covered in black. It was really weird, even though this woman was sitting in the middle of the street, she seems to be invisible to the people.

Welcome to my new blog. My name is Linh Mai. I’ve been inspired from the beautiful images of other DP1 users, so I decided to get my own one – with no regrets. Far from it, I’m absolutely pleased with the results. I’m a non-professionell photographer, even so I’ve owned big tanks like the 1dmkIII and the D3 – both are fantastic cameras. Due a new job in the video game industry (I was in the commercial post production industry) I moved from Hamburg to Frankfurt am Main and sold my large photo equipment. It was too expensive to keep it and not least because my other private projects. So the DP1 is a fine compensation, in addition I’m thinking about to get a SD14 to have more flexibility in case of focal length.
Last but not least…the photos;) I’ve shot about 450 Photos and 20 Videos with the DP1, here is a small collection with my favourites.
